Prepay Electric Service
Little Ocmulgee EMC offers Prepay electric service for eligible single-phase residential accounts
with self-contained meters and 200-amp service.
With Prepay, members pay for electricity in advance, similar to purchasing gasoline for a vehicle.
Payments are applied daily as energy is used. Prepay members are not required to pay a deposit.
If the prepaid balance reaches zero, electric service is automatically disconnected and will not be
restored until payment is made.
Important Notice:
There are risks to persons and property associated with the immediate disconnection and reconnection
of electric service under the Prepay program. It is the member’s sole responsibility to protect any
persons and property under these circumstances.

To restore service after disconnection, the account must be recharged to a minimum balance of $25.00
If an account remains disconnected for seven (7) days, it will be considered inactive and a final
bill will be mailed to the last known address. Daily charges will continue to apply during this period.
Account Changes and Refunds
-
Any remaining prepaid credit will be refunded after final billing if service is terminated at the
member’s request
