Becoming a Cooperative Member
When you sign up for electric service with an electric cooperative, you are doing more than becoming
a customer. You are becoming a member of one of more than 900 electric cooperatives serving the
United States.
Unlike other utilities, cooperative members have a voice in how their company operates. As a member,
you are part-owner of the Cooperative.
