HOW TO SIGN UP FOR RESIDENTIAL SERVICE

When you sign up for service with an electric cooperative, you're doing more than becoming a customer. You're becoming a member of one of over 900 electric cooperatives serving the U.S. Unlike other utilities, as a cooperative member, you have a say in how your company operates. To become a member and sign up a service, you will need to:

You will also need to pay

The Membership Fee and deposit must be paid before your electric service can be connected.

Also bring directions to where you'll be living and the 911 address. If you know who previously lived at the location, or have the meter number, it can help us find where you live. If this is for a new house or trailer, you'll also need to schedule a time for our staking engineer to meet with you on the site to determine the best way to serve your account. New houses and trailers will also have to be inspected by your county before we can turn the electricity on.

Current Little Ocmulgee EMC members may contact the office to add or change services to accounts.
